Well Behaved Pets (and their owners) Welcome
Timberland Lake Campground is Pet Friendly and is happy to welcome our guests who are traveling with their family dog and/or cat. In order to insure all of our guests have a safe and enjoyable time, it is important that you read and abide by the following pet policy:
--Please have a copy of the pet’s paperwork available if needed (ex. Registration, shot records, etc.)
--No Pets are allowed in the white fenced areas (including the playgrounds, beach, mini golf, rc track, pavilion, pool etc.) or the restrooms
--All dogs must be under the control and visual observation of their handler/owner at all times. This includes when dogs are inside of temporary fencing and/or on leashes, leads, or tie outs.
--A 6’ (six foot) or less, non-retractable leash rule is in effect whenever the animal is outside the owner’s camping/sleeping unit or vehicle
--Aggressive dogs of any breed are not welcome at our park. If your dog shows behavior that is protective or unfriendly to strangers or is aggressive towards any of the animals or wildlife on the premises, please leave them at home. If you decide to bring your dog and it exhibits this type of behavior, the owner or management of our property will ask you to remove the pet and find other accommodations.
--Allowing your pet to bark uncontrollably day or night will not be permitted and you may be asked to leave if you are not able to control your pet’s barking behavior
Service Animals of any breed are welcome at Timberland Lake Campground and may accompany their owner/handler in any of the public areas that their owners are allowed. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability. The Service Animal must not pose a direct health or safety threat to others, and must be under control of their handler at all times.
Emotional Support Animals (ESA) ARE NOT considered service animals and are subject to the pet policies as outlined above.
